Get ready to run, duck, hide, outwit, and outmaneuver your opponents as you take to the streets of Ghent to survive in the most epic race for your life. It's part tag, part footrace, part zombie apocalypse. Do you have what it takes to Survive Norfolk?
You have 2 hours to make it from the Starting Point/End Point to 4 checkpoints you MUST stop at on your journey and make it back. Oh, and the entire time a horde of Zombies will be chasing you down. If you get caught, you become one of them. If you get to each checkpoint and make it to the End Point without being eaten alive, then you have survived the game. Game play starts at 8:30pm.
Survive Norfolk is for players 18+ ONLY. All participants will have to sign a waiver in order to participate. ID's will be checked. Waivers will be available for download via www.survivenorfolk.com as well as at check-in the day of the event.
On-line registration will be open on a first come, first serve basis to the first 1,800 people until 11:55pm on 10/27/11. Limit 10 armbands per order. Armbands will be available for pick up the day of Survive Norfolk at check-in ONLY, on 10/29/11 from 6pm to 8pm. Check-in will be located in the Trinity Presbyterian Church parking lot at 1600 Colonial Avenue in Ghent. Do not call the church for information, they are only allowing use of the parking lot.
Your receipt is NOT an armband. No armbands will be mailed or shipped in davance, they are ONLY available upon check-in the day of the event. Bring your receipt to ensure accuracy and a quicker check-in process.
No refunds. If you cannot attend, you CAN pass your armband to someone else who is also 18+. This name change MUST be submitted no later than 10/27/11 to urbanplayground757@gmail.com OR it can be done in person at registration check-in the day of Survive Norfolk on 10/29/11 from 6pm to 8pm.
Proceeds from Survive Norfolk will benefit the following local charitable organizations: the d'Art Center, Hope House Foundation, Hermitage Museum & Gardens, and Lee's Friends. Thank you for supporting these truly wonderful causes!
